Foodies Freebie: July 2011 Desktop Calendar

Our desktop for this month features a picture of tomatoes taken last week at Eataly, in NY. As I (Kitty) spent some time in Upstate NY visiting Jake, our last day together we went to NYC and had to visit this amazing place.

If you’ve never heard of Eataly before, let me introduce you to this amazing place: It was founded by Oscar Farinetti, Mario Batali (we love his recipes!), Lidia Bastianich and Joe Bastianich. They have created this amazing place that is a market, a restaurant, a brewery… you name it, it’s there. They sell from fresh produce as you can see here, fresh pasta and just made mozarella. I have a nice article on the works about Eataly… But in the mean time this is a sneak peek to its greatness!
