Lychee Martini

Vodka is my poison of choice, and even though I’m a vodka tonic (easy on the lime) kind of girl, I do enjoy martinis as well, when they are properly made.

I’m not much of a mixed drinks fan, or anything with fruity, pink anything. However, this lychee martini is very good.

Lychee is a fruit native to China, but now cultivated in other parts of the World. They are red and rough on the outside, and their inside white pulp has a delicate sweet, tangy flavor.  This drink is perfect if you are preparing an Asian inspired meal. You can get canned lychee from Asian gourmet stores, which are the kind used to make this drink. (the juice from the canned lychee is part of the ingredients).
