Foodies Freebie: The Planning Foodie

This post is also available in / Esta entrada también está disponible en ESPAÑOL (SPANISH)

Every single year, on New Years Eve we all make Resolutions. This year, The Foodies’ Kitchen will help you keep your promises. Today we give you not one but two Foodies’ helpers: a Shopping List and a Weekly Meal Planner.

“What’s for dinner?” is the question of the hour. Too many foodies just stare at the kitchen shelves or the fridge, waiting for the answer to pop out. The mission is 3 meals a day, 7 dinners a week. Our proposal: A Weekly Meal Planner.

This planner will save you money, time and will improve your family’s nutrition. You’re going to reduce trips to the supermarket, you’ll use leftovers in a more efficient way and will cut food waste. You’ll also be able to save time when cooking, since you’ll already have the meals planned. There will be enough time to prepare healthy side dishes and salads to complement the main dish, increasing the family’s consumption of fruits and vegetables. We hope this is a kick start for you!

On the Shopping list you’ll be able to write up what ingredient you need to get from the store, if you already have it or not back home, how much you need of it (this helps me to see how many things I need to buy to have enough to make the recipe. There are some things that we can’t at the same store, so we also  added a column for that. This is the latest Foodie organization helper.

Let us know if you like what you see here and how we can improve it to make it better for you our dear readers! Click on the link bellow to download both the Shopping List and Weekly Planner:
