Strawberry Grapefruit Smoothie

Yield: 3 servings
1 grapefruit, peeled, seeded, and chopped
1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
1 sweet apple, cored and chopped
1 cup of water
½ cup orange juice
2 cups hulled fresh or frozen strawberries
- In a blender, pulse the grapefruit and ginger until they are combined.
- Add the apple, process until smooth, then add the water and orange juice.
- Add the frozen strawberries one by one (if frozen) or by batches if fresh, and process until smooth.
- After you’ve had your first serving, refrigerate the remainder smoothie in a jar, and when you’re ready for more, just shake it before serving.
