Moonstruck is one of my favorite films. There is a scene where Cher is preparing two pieces of bread with the centers removed and an eggs frying inside. So, as a tribute I give you my version of these eggs.

When I was about 11 years old, my parents took me to Germany and I learned how to make Pfannkuchen. It had never occurred to me to make pancakes in such a different way. This was an important day in my growing love for cooking.
