Grilled Asparagus

I don’t think I’ll ever steam asparagus again!  I tried this method a few weeks ago, and we loved them.  They are so much more flavorful!  They are wonderful as they are, but you can also add a splash of balsamic vinegar.

We featured asparagus as our vegetable of the month for July, so this is another recipe you can try as a side dish, or appetizer.

You can use your indoor griller for this, or a grilling pan as I did.

Grilled Asparagus

Grilled Asparagus

Serves 4
Recipe from All Recipes

Ingredients:
1 lb asparagus
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper

Procedure:

  1. Preheat grill for high heat.
  2. Lightly coat the asparagus spears with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Grill over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, or to desired tenderness.

    I think I’ll give that one a try! We love Asparagus so it’ll be nice to do something slightly different.
