Is anyone else trying to clean up their diet after the holidays? We’re back to our usual regime at home, which means lots of vegetables and protein. It’s hard to get back on the healthy wagon, especially when a craving for a sweet treat strikes. This smoothie has helped me out; I make it in a snap as an afternoon snack when I start getting hungry.
It has greek yogurt, avocado and banana, so it’s quite thick. I thin it out by adding 2% milk. Depending on how ripe your banana is, you may or may not need to add a little extra sweetener. I used a packet of Stevia here, you could add a little agave as well.
This smoothie is sure to satisfy your hunger in the afternoon, and it doesn’t taste like it has avocado in there. It’s just tasted like a sweet banana-chocolate smoothie.
