Baked Apple Roses

You will need puff pastry which you can get in pastry shops or in the supermarket, Washington Fuji apples, cinnamon, icing sugar, and apricot or peach preserves. Of the latter, only a little is needed to spread on the strips of puff pastry that we are going to prepare as the base of the apple roses.

An important step is to use a microwave or water that is slightly hotter than lukewarm so that the apple slices become soft and easy to handle and do not break. To get thin slices we recommend using a mandolin. Be very careful! You can also use a sharp knife if your cutting skills are good.

You will see how easy it is to assemble them and how beautiful they will be!

Roll into a beautiful apple rose. Place each rose into a muffin sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 45 minutes or until the dough is fully baked.
