Don Julio Blanco Tequila

Commonly called “Silver” tequila, its agave flavor with citrus notes of lemon peel, oranges and limes, mineral notes and a touch of black pepper make it an essential component for cocktails, such as the well-known Margarita. It is also enjoyed alone or on the rocks.

Tequila Don Julio 70

This tequila commemorates the brand’s 70 years of producing tequila. It is an aged tequila that goes through double filtering and aging for 18 months in bourbon barrels, contributing to its flavor; it has notes of cooked agave, vanilla, and spices with a woody finish.

It is also widely used in cocktails but best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.

How to enjoy Tequila and how you can serve it

A liquor like most things, is best enjoyed when drunk correctly. A tequila is enjoyed in its pure form sip by sip to taste the aromas and notes we have described above.

To taste it, we can first identify its color. In the case of these two tequilas, it is clear. Then we smell it to perceive its aromas where we can perceive woody notes, pepper, mint, spices, citrus, or pineapple.

Now we can take the first sip, letting the tequila remain in our mouth for a few seconds before swallowing. We can perceive notes on the palate like those we perceive on the nose. Depending on the variety, you can taste sweet, salty, sour, or slightly bitter flavors.
