Sips & Bites: Melon, Prosciutto and Arugula Salad & Marqués de Riscal Verdejo Rueda

For this edition of Sips & Bites we’re leaning into simplicity and elegance with a fresh twist on a classic flavor pairing. Instead of prepping individual melon and prosciutto bites, we plated everything as a single-serving salad—light, colorful, and perfect for warm-weather gatherings. Juicy wedges of melon, delicate ribbons of prosciutto, and a peppery bed of arugula come together with a touch of balsamic vinegar glaze that brightens every bite.

Sips & Bites: Melon, Prosciutto and Arugula Salad

This refreshing salad pairs effortlessly with Marqués de Riscal Verdejo Rueda 2023, a crisp Spanish white wine that brings out the sweetness of the melon while balancing the saltiness of the prosciutto and the zing of the glaze. The wine’s herbal and mineral notes echo the freshness of the salad, making each bite and sip feel like summer in a glass.

Serve chilled.
