I tried this for a quick Sunday lunch. This is great to serve with grilled chicken, fish. You can serve it as a smooth dip by adding just ½ cup of milk.
Yields: About 2 ½ cups
Adapted from The Amazing Avocado
3 avocados, peeled and chopped
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
Juice from 1 lemon
1 teaspoon salt
Pepper to taste
2/3 cup milk
¼ teaspoon onion powder
a pinch of dried oregano
1 jalapeño pepper, chopped (optional)
- Put all the ingredients into the blender, and blend until smooth and creamy. You can add more milk if you prefer a thinner sauce.
