Happy Hour: Espresso Martini

Vodka martini is one of the most popular cocktails, and not only in its traditional form, but because it is made with vodka that has a clean and clear profile, it can be flavored with any other liquor or ingredient, giving us endless possibilities.

Happy Hour: Espresso Martini

One of our favorite variations is this one, the Espresso Martini. We start by preparing cold brew coffee, you can find the recipe here, or you can purchase a commercial brand. We also used coffee liqueur and for our base Ketel One Vodka, which is a premium vodka of Dutch origin.

The preparation is very simple, just mix the ingredients in a shaker with ice, and voila! Enjoy in moderation, this cocktail is dangerously delicious, but the alcohol is present.

Happy Hour: Espresso Martini

Traditional Espresso Martinis are served with a frothy layer on top. It’s our preference not to serve it with this frothy layer, but to achieve it, when adding the ingredients to your shaker, mix vigorously for about 30 seconds. It also helps to use authentic espresso to achieve frothiness.

If you have hazelnut liquor at hand, you can add a touch to give the flavor profile a twist.

You can find Ketel One Vodka at Vinoteca stores.
