Baked Paprika Chicken

If you’re looking for an easy-baked chicken recipe, this is it! Bone-in pieces are a great choice for flavorful, juicy chicken and you can also make this recipe with bone-in thighs or drumsticks as well.

This is one of our favorite recipes to make for weekday meals. It tastes like you spent a long time making them, the added brown sugar that is used with the spices helps make a caramelized crust that looks so appetizing! And the taste is amazing.

Baked Paprika Chicken

Baked Paprika Chicken

Recipe adapted from Let The Baking Begin
Yields: 4-6 servings

Ingredients:

4-6 bone-in chicken breasts
3 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1  tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
3 tsp brown sugar
¼ tsp cayenne pepper or another chili
2 tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Procedure:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F
  2. Combine all the spices and condiments in a small bowl.
  3. Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl or Ziploc bag. Add the olive oil and spices. Mix well, massaging everything well into the chicken.
  4. Add the chicken to a baking pan and bake, uncovered, for 45 to 55 minutes or until the chicken registers 165F with a thermometer.
  5. Garnish with sprinkled parsley if desired.
